Wednesday Tiger Tech Talk: Phishing and Spam and BECs, Oh My!
RIT Information Security is excited to announce the first in a new collaborative series of Tiger Tech Talks! Each month, our university partners will provide a brief interactive presentation followed by an extended discussion.Please join us for our first Tiger Tech Talk on Wednesday, July 10 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM in the VIA Lab on the second floor of the RIT Wallace Library.Our first topic is Phishing and Spam and BECs, Oh My!Ben Woelk, Information Security Office Program Manager, will discuss how to best identify and respond to spam, phishing, and BEC attacks we receive at RIT. We’ll discuss samples from our simulated phishing pilot program and discuss how the RIT community has responded.You’ll learn how to quickly identify these scams and you’ll be able to test your knowledge through our phishing quiz.
