Looking for ways to balance our diet, we discovered kombucha. With a cultural background of Taiwanese and Korean, we also re-introduced kimchi and fermented vegetables back into our lives around the same time. What started as a means to help ourselves turned into sharing with friends who experienced similar gut problems. It was only natural that, with time, we took on this hobby full time to share with even more people.Happy Gut Sanctuary is a Rochester based nano-fermentarium. We curate small batch, high quality fermented foods that are good for the Gut and the Soul using minimal salt and sugar.Fermented Teas, aka “Kombucha”Our mission is to elevate fermented teas by dispelling the popular conception of what kombucha is. We search for specialty, or ceremonial grade, teas to bring forth the complex flavors from within. The way in which we ferment pays respect to the expertise that goes into bringing these beautiful teas into existence. Every tea is handpicked with intention and every flavor is handcrafted with love!  About Lucas Wong ’19Lucas first started practicing yoga 5 years ago, but his journey into a more serious practice started 2 and a half years ago. He discovered a love for Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga with not just the physical practice but through the power of community that it cultivates. The physical dedication to the practice opened a door to an endless journey of self-discovery. This continuous experience shifted his perspective on life so much that he noticed RIT was missing this essential experience. So he took it upon himself to form Power Yoga RIT.
