The Poverty, Inc. documentary has won over 60 international film festival awards and focuses on how aid to low resource countries and people groups has become a big business, but little seems to change for the intended beneficiaries of this aid. A close look is taken at the flaws in the aid system and how true change can only come through creating programs based on empowerment, education, training, and asset-based development.
