Performing Artists Concert Series
Presenting a marvelously entertaining musical sampling of lyric theatre produced and directed by Eastman School doctoral candidate, Keely Futterer. The program offers arias, duets, trios, and quartets performed by Keely and four fellow voice students accompanied by a fine piano collaborative artist, all graduate students at the Eastman School of Music.The program is divided into sections entitled Breaking the Fourth Wall, Gender Benders and Fairy Tales, Satirical and Comedic Characters, Hopeless Romantics, and Schemers. Musical selections will include works by Leonard Bernstein, Oscar Hammerstein, Gilbert & Sullivan, Dvorak, Mozart, and Puccini.
