Make Your Own Glass Pendant or Paperweight
From hot glass to flameworking, you and your family can do just about anything with glass, with the help of RIT's experienced Glass students. Make your own glass pendant or paperweight during this Brick City Homecoming and Family Weekend event scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19. These experiences are roughly 45-60 minutes in length and no previous experience is necessary. Cost per person is $50.Appropriate safety equipment is required for each project — please wear closed-toe shoes and natural fiber clothing. A parent or guardian must remain in the studio while children are participating in make your own glass experiences. Projects will be ready two days after they are made for pick-up only.
