Join us as we welcome Audio Designer Marc Carlton for a talk titled: My Journey in Professional Game AudioTalk Abstract:  There are many choices and challenges along the path from first job to AAA Sound Designer. Marc shares insights from his 12 year career, highlighting opportunities in game audio, life in the game industry, and tips for success.About Marc: Marc has spent twelve years working as a game audio designer at companies such as Activision, Fisher-Price, and currently, Digital Extremes. He's contributed to a range of AAA game franchises including Warframe, Guitar Hero, Sonic the Hedge Hog, and many others. Marc is a graduate of Indiana University's School of Music and Telecommunications departments,where he received an AS Recording Arts Technology, BA Telecommunications Production, and MS Immersive Media.Talk: 1:00-2:00 PM, followed by Q&A until 2:30PM.
