The Global Health Association @ RIT's mission is to increase awareness of the health challenges faced by people throughout our interconnected planet, and challenge our members to generate innovative solutions that will benefit our global society.
At our first conference, we hope to achieve this by offering diverse insights and perspectives on Global Health. There will be presentations on three key features of global health in our world today: biomedical aspects, design and technology, and social determinants of health.
Come hear amazing leaders in the fieled of global health from the University of Michigan, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation / John's Hopkins University, University of Rochester and many from right here at RIT!
There will also be several organizations present that offer students a chance to get involved in global health work locally and around the world. You will even have a chance to see a prosthetic limb created right before our eyes on a 3-D printer!
