Design Conversations: Barbara L. Dixon

Communications professional Barbara L. Dixon is delivering a lecture at RIT as part of the Vignelli Center for Design Studies’ Design Conversations series.Her "Diversity in Design - Without Boundaries" talk is scheduled for 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in University Gallery (Booth Hall, second floor).Throughout her accomplished marketing and communications career, Dixon has worked in all areas of design, from décor to fashion and everywhere in between. She has developed and implemented communications campaigns for companies and individuals across many design fields.Her expertise encompasses publishing, too, having been an editor and done other work at Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, MyHouse, Cottages and Gardens publications and Style at Home. Dixon also has a broadcasting background as she has produced shows and done on-air work for HGTV.Dixon’s lecture will highlight the attributes that have been of utmost importance throughout her illustrious career.
