The Perils of Plastic

Dr. Sherri Mason, Visiting Lecturer at RIT

The study of plastic pollution has most famously been focused on the "Great Pacific Garbage Patch"... but we have lots to learn about plastic pollution from a freshwater resource much closer to home.

Join the College of Science and the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences in hosting Dr. Sherri Mason, the Sustainability Coordinator from Penn State Behrend, to discuss her ongoing research of plastic pollution and wastewater treatment in the Great Lakes.
