Art career preparation with Rachel DiNunzio '11

Rachel DiNunzio ’11 (illustration) is a fine artist, children’s book author, illustrator and educator based in Buffalo, N.Y. RIT’s School of Art is hosting her for an open-to-all talk with a theme of “Kickstarting Your Creative Career: Finding Opportunities, Marketing Your Skills and What to do After Art School.” The lecture is set for 4 p.m. Thursday, April, 4, in Booth Hall, 3510. With graduation around the corner, the event focuses on preparing for a career. Lecture topics will include the truth about art and business, portfolio-building tips, using social media as an active resume and other career preparation information. DiNunzio also hosts “The Book Creator Podcast” for authors, illustrators and author-illustrators looking to turn ideas into a readable reality.
