3D-Printed Prostheses: The Complexity of Serving Indviduals Living in Low-Resource Regions, Disaster Areas & Conflict Zones.

With main speaker Jade Myers, RIT alumna and current manager at RIT access technology prototyping lab, will be speaking about her experience working in an international non-profit organization specializing in designing culturally appropriate and affordable 3D-printed prosthetic devices.Alongside with two special guests: Omar Soufan and Ibrahim Mohammad, University of Rochester Students, who will be speaking about their effort to establish a rehabilitative center in Lebanon to aid displaced and wounded refugees from Syria.Interpreting services requests can be submitted at myaccess.rit.edu.
