Rochester's Stories: Past Meets Present

Join RIT Libraries and the College of Liberal Arts for an opening reception for three new exhibits now on view at Wallace Library: 1) The Stories They Tell (1st floor): Glimpse into moments of RIT history and the lives of some of our alumni. This exhibit was curated by students in the RIT Museum Studies program with items from RIT Archives.  2) Because of Women Like Her (2nd floor, Sunken Gallery): Discover the people and ideas that won the vote for women in New York State. This is part of a traveling exhibition and community-wide effort to celebrate the centennial of women's suffrage in NY. On view here until November 30.  3) SpiRITed (3rd floor, RIT Museum): Explore the history of RIT school spirit through vintage photographs and memorabilia. This exhibit was curated by students in the RIT Museum Studies program with items from RIT Archives.  Light refreshments will be served.
