Reception for Design Autopsy

Rochester Institute of Technology’s College of Imaging Arts and Sciences is proud to present Design Autopsy -- an annual exhibition highlighting the depth and breadth of achievement by Industrial Design alumni. The exhibition opens during Brick City Homecoming Weekend in Bevier Gallery, and will remain on view through November 4.In addition to the opening reception on Friday, October 13 from 5-7 PM, a panel discussion will take place Saturday, October 14 at 10:00 AM.  With a theme of the “state of the industry,” this event will provide an inside look at the successes of Industrial Design alumni, whose work on view features the diversity of specializations open to graduates of the program.After the exhibition, Design Autopsy will remain on view in the Industrial Design studios on the fourth floor of Booth Hall, on the RIT campus.RIT’s top-ranked Industrial Design program is linked to the the Vignelli Center for Design Studies, housing the archive of world-renowned designers Massimo and Lelli Vignelli. It serves as an international hub for design education, preservation and collaboration, and as a key resource for students in RIT’s School of Design.
