GIRL RISING: A Free Community Screening

The M.K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence invites the Rochester community to experience the film Girl Rising (PG-13) on Saturday, March 4th from 2-5pm. This film engages the audience by "using the power of storytelling to share the simple truth that educating girls can transform societies". Janine Burge, an RIT student, will host this event at The Downtown United Presbyterian Church located at 121 N. Fitzhugh Street (free parking across the street) followed by a community Speak Up, Paper Chain Project, and Bicycle raffle from R Community Bikes Inc. Join us: RSVP at: jxb5896@rit.edu or call (585) 392-8074 with any requests. See you there!
