Establishing and Developing International & Interdisciplinary Research Coalitions

All faculty and graduate students are invited to this interactive seminar where participants will not only share their experiences with international and interdisciplinary research collaborations, but will learn how to expand their network, develop a new idea, and create and lead their new network.  Stay for the duration, or as your schedule permits!Interactive discussion will cover particular topics such as:Leading vs. followingAlternative options when implementation of an idea failsHow to handle the unexpected surprisesReal-life examplesAGENDA 1:30-2:00pm   Interactive Discussion: Design of research collaborations 2:00-2:30pm   Implementation of a successful collaboration using real-life examples 2:30-3:00pm   Q&A, NetworkingDr. Michael Radin, Associate Professor of Mathematics, College of Science, with his passion for research collaboration, will serve as facilitator.Co-sponsored by RIT's Honors Program and Faculty Career Development in the Innovative Learning Institute.
