Rochester Institute of Technology Looking for information on how to land a co-op and do a great job while you are there? COME TO THE HACK YOUR CO-OP SEARCH PROGRAM! Student panelists who have successfully completed co-ops will provide advice on networking, business etiquette, and getting and negotiating an offer for post-graduation careers. Learn from your peers!! Hack Your Co-op Search Wednesday, November 1st 12:30 to 2:00 pm Golisano Building, Room 2400 Space is limited – Register on Handshake in Events (Search for Hack Your Co-op Search, go into event and click Join Event) Or email Stacy Gonzalez at ocega1@rit.edu To request an interpreter – https://myaccess.rit.edu Learn about: • What it is like to be a co-op—stories, tips, successes, pitfalls, exciting projects, and the day to day from your peers. • How to connect with professionals and fellow students for information on co-ops within companies. • How to look for co-ops--and not just online or at career fairs. • How to emerge from the crowd—from your resume to the interview to the job. • How to sell yourself as a value added asset for a co-op--even when the company doesn’t have an official opening. • Resources and tools to utilize in your search. ***Be prepared for an engaging and interactive experience!
